HANNIBAL is a high-performance attachment designed to expand the capabilities of your standard Cito device in difficult conditions
Cito HANNIBAL is a high-performance attachment designed to expand the capabilities of your standard Cito device. While the original Cito excels with most webbings, some ultra-slick materials, like pure Dyneema or thin, high-density weaves can pose a challenge for traditional friction grips. Hannibal solves this by providing an aggressive, mechanical bite that ensures zero slippage, even in the most demanding conditions.
Precision-engineered to slide directly onto your Cito, the Hannibal features 72 high strengh 17-4PH stainless steel teeth. Their strategic, staggered arrangement is optimized to distribute load across different fiber bundles, preventing the "guillotine effect" and maximizing the breaking strength of your webbing.
To ensure reliability in the harshest environments, the chassis is designed with integrated clearance ports. These openings allow water, ice, and mud to be squeezed out during engagement, preventing debris from clogging the teeth and ensuring a metal-to-fiber lock every time.
The best part? Its modular design means it is only there when you need it. If you are working with delicate nylon or particulary fragile webbing, simply remove the Hannibal to return to the classic Cito interface. It is the ultimate insurance policy for your slackline or alpine kit. Maximum grip on demand, zero compromise on versatility.
